The School of Systems Engineering at the University of Sin\u00fa, El\u00edas Bechara Zain\u00fam, Cartagena Section, in collaboration with the Casa de Amigos Corporation with Worldwide Reach, conducted the second Digital Literacy Workshop aimed at older adults in the Flor del Campo community. This initiative aims to develop basic skills in the attendees and encourage the use and adoption of tools that allow them to communicate efficiently and collaboratively. It also aims to promote the improvement of motor skills, the development of social skills, and motivation towards the use of technology. On this occasion, the workshop covered topics related to the basic operation of the computer, internet access, and the creation and use of email.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The sensitization of the LGBTI community was successfully achieved regarding basic knowledge and community approaches to Tuberculosis and TB-HIV coinfection. This helped them understand, recognize, and obtain sufficient information to detect new cases and assist in preventing the disease within these minority population groups. The outreach to this population group faced some limitations and barriers due to the stigma and discrimination experienced by individuals in this community. It was necessary to attend nightlife venues and tolerance zones for recruitment and invitation processes. Additionally, a larger portion of the target population benefited from this strategy.\nThe strategy allowed for the visibility of community skills and abilities among individuals in the affected community, generating interest from other public and private organizations. To date, three (3) Peer Navigators trained through the strategy have been hired as a result of the increased recognition of the importance of community-based peer approaches within the LGBTI community.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Estrategias innovadoras de sensibilizaci\u00f3n sobre Tuberculosis-VIH con enfoque de g\u00e9nero y diferencial en poblaci\u00f3n LGTBI Se logro\u0301 sensibilizar a la comunidad LGBTI beneficiada, frente a conocimientos ba\u0301sicos y de abordaje comunitario de la Tuberculosis y la coinfeccio\u0301n TB-VIH, para que comprendan, reconozcan y cuenten con informacio\u0301n suficiente para detectar casos nuevos y ayudar a prevenir la enfermedad dentro de estos grupos poblacionales minoritarios, logrando llegar a este grupo poblacional con algunas limitaciones y barreras producto del estigma y la discriminacio\u0301n del que son vi\u0301ctimas las personas de esta comunidad, siendo obligatorio asistir para los procesos de convocatoria e invitacio\u0301n a participar, a sitios nocturnos de socializacio\u0301n y zonas de tolerancia. Asimismo, se beneficio\u0301 una mayor cantidad de la poblacio\u0301n objetivo. La estrategia permitido la visibilizari\u0301an de habilidades y destrezas comunitarias en las personas de la comunidad afectada; despertando intere\u0301s en otras organizaciones pu\u0301blicas y privadas. A la fecha tres (3) Gestores Pares formados con la estrategia han sido contratados producto de la visibilizacio\u0301n de la importancia del abordaje comunitario realizado por pares en la comunidad LGBTI.
